ZoneTraderPro Software Update Distribution Begins Wednesday
Live Update Webinar Friday at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time
The new ZoneTraderPro software package is scheduled to begin distribution Wednesday afternoon, after approximately 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Two days later I'll hold a live webinar walking through the new software — what changed, how to use the new features, and what to pay attention to on your charts.

Why I took one more week
I thought the software was essentially ready. Then I went down one more research rabbit hole — and it took roughly another week.
That week produced some very fruitful results. One of them was strong enough that I decided it belonged in the production software rather than sitting in a folder waiting for a future update. That result is the new blue Extreme Exhaustion Reversal marker.
I had the chance to make the product meaningfully better before release, so I took the time and did it. The extra week was worth it.
A very productive rabbit hole: blue Extreme Exhaustion Reversal markers
The blue markers identify what ZoneTraderPro has classified as an extreme exhaustion reversal pattern. On the chart above they appear as blue triangles — pointing down near highs, up near lows.
They are not designed to tell you that a given bar is the exact top or bottom, and I'm not going to make that claim. What they tell you is that the market is showing a particular combination of conditions associated with extreme exhaustion. When that pattern appears, there is a meaningful possibility — and in the patterns identified during development, often a very good possibility — that a reversal may develop over the next couple of bars.
The marker can occur at or very close to an apex, but it does not need to mark the exact apex. The value is early warning and context. Go back to the chart above, find the blue markers, and watch what price does immediately afterward — that's the behavior this tool is built to flag.
Pay attention now. The current move may be running out of fuel, and a reversal may develop within the next few bars.
The new Tick Context Filter
The Tick Context Filter is the replacement for the old BloodHound Tick Confirm template. If you've been using Tick Confirm, this is what takes its place in this release.
Rather than treating the NYSE TICK as a simple yes/no confirmation, the Tick Context Filter continuously evaluates the broader TICK environment. It tells you whether that environment is supportive, opposing, strengthening, weakening, or transitioning — the red and green background shading on the chart above is part of that read.
In practice it means fewer separate pieces to configure and one consistent read of context that your markers and your entries both share.
Free upgrade for BloodHound upgrade customers
This software upgrade is free to existing ZoneTraderPro customers who previously purchased the BloodHound upgrade. After the Tuesday confirmation email goes out, please contact me by email or through the ZoneTraderPro website contact form regarding your software update.
