REAL ES CHART · ZTP SUPERTICK + FLOW RIBBON + LEG LEDGER
Beyond price alone
What ZTP SuperTick Reveals Beyond Price
ZTP SuperTick helps you interpret the directional conditions behind an ES move. Instead of guessing from price alone, you can watch two intuitive readings—Breadth and Pressure—alongside the trading structure already on your chart.
SUPERTICK 01
Breadth
A real-time view of whether market participation broadly favors upward movement, downward movement, or a less decisive condition.
SUPERTICK 02
Pressure
A complementary view of directional strength. Watch when pressure expands, fades, or begins shifting in the opposite direction.
READING THE MOVE
Transitions
Changes in Breadth and Pressure can provide useful context while price consolidates, tests a level, resumes, or begins a counter-move.
"Price shows the move. ZTP SuperTick adds the directional context developing around it."
Designed to collaborate
ZTP SuperTick + Flow Ribbon + Leg Ledger
These indicators are most informative when you understand their relationship. They offer different perspectives, but the SuperTick Auto signals are deliberately designed to use information from Delta Strength Flow Ribbon.
01 · MARKET CONTEXT
ZTP SuperTick
Shows Breadth and Pressure. Is market participation supporting the current move or starting to lose conviction?
02 · PRESSURE CONTEXT
DS Flow Ribbon
Shows the direction and development of Delta Strength pressure. Flow Ribbon also provides information used by the combined SuperTick Auto signal layer.
03 · STRUCTURAL CONTEXT
DS Leg Ledger
Evaluates a developing structural leg against preceding moves, helping you distinguish a meaningful impulse from a weaker or opposing move.
A chart may show strengthening SuperTick participation while Flow Ribbon is still recovering. Leg Ledger may describe the latest bullish leg even though the larger move has been bearish. That is not necessarily an error. It is information about different aspects of the same market.
The objective isn't three green lights. It is understanding the relationship between broad participation, Delta Strength pressure, and the current structural leg.
Five real-market studies
ZTP SuperTick: Five Real ES Chart Studies
These five actual NinjaTrader ES charts show ZTP SuperTick in different trading conditions. Each is paired with Flow Ribbon, and four also display Leg Ledger. Click a chart to inspect the full-size example.
Chart screenshots are historical examples, not trade recommendations. The green/red Auto arrows and backgrounds can use both SuperTick context and Flow Ribbon information; the blue/orange lines show SuperTick Breadth and Pressure. The Leg Ledger state shown at the right edge describes that moment—not all the prior bars on the chart.
01
Directional participation
ZTP SuperTick During a Developing Advance
The ES works progressively higher through the middle of the session. SuperTick frequently shows positive Breadth and Pressure during the advancing phases while Flow Ribbon gradually improves and later expands.

SuperTick
Green combined-context intervals accompany several advances, while brief neutral or red interruptions show that directional support is not constant.
Flow Ribbon
The pressure lines rise through the developing move. Their later flattening and decline provide additional context as price stops accelerating.
Leg Ledger
The far-right snapshot reads BEAR — HEALTHY. That refers to the latest developing structural leg near the end of the screenshot; it does not invalidate the earlier bullish move.
What this chart teaches: A strong session can contain a healthy counter-move. SuperTick describes participation, Flow Ribbon supplies Delta Strength context, and Leg Ledger evaluates the current structural leg—not the entire day.
02
Changes in pressure
How the indicators work through a pullback and recovery
The afternoon contains an early advance, a downward rotation, and a later recovery. That creates a useful comparison of changes in SuperTick participation with the changing slope of the Flow Ribbon.

SuperTick
Positive activity is prominent during the rallies, bearish pressure develops around the decline, and positive participation reappears in the subsequent recovery.
Flow Ribbon
Its pressure lines weaken through the pullback and recover during the afternoon rally. The ribbon tells us whether the local buying/selling pressure is actually rebuilding.
Leg Ledger
The latest visible state reads BULL — HEALTHY, with a developing bullish structural leg. This is meaningful structure context, not a standalone instruction to buy.
What this chart teaches: SuperTick Auto is designed to cooperate with Flow Ribbon. Its combined chart signals use Flow Ribbon information; they are not just another name for the SuperTick Breadth or Pressure line.
03
Bearish conditions
ZTP SuperTick During a Sustained Selloff
The market begins with an extended selloff, including several pushes lower. Red combined-context background and negative SuperTick Breadth/Pressure periods provide an additional view of bearish conditions.
October 8, 2026 · Morning · ES 12-26 · 2-second chart · Click to view full size
SuperTick
Red combined-context intervals expand around the sharper declines, while the occasional green interval marks a temporary opposing condition rather than proof that the downtrend has ended.
Flow Ribbon
Its lines fall persistently through the primary decline, showing sustained negative Delta Strength pressure.
Leg Ledger
At the far right, the latest structural state reads BULL — STRONG as price rebounds. The most recent leg can be bullish while the larger preceding selloff and Flow Ribbon remain negative.
What this chart teaches: This is why the three panels should not be treated as a voting system. A bullish developing leg can be a countertrend recovery inside a session whose earlier pressure was strongly negative.
04
Trend transition
Seeing the change from bullish strength to fading support
The early market advance is supported by repeated positive SuperTick periods as price climbs. Later, price loses upward momentum and begins to pull back while the Flow Ribbon rolls over.
October 5, 2026 · Morning · ES 12-26 · 2-second chart · Click to view full size
SuperTick
Participation shifts from repeated positive bursts toward more mixed and then negative conditions as the advance loses traction.
Flow Ribbon
The rising pressure lines flatten and turn lower, helping distinguish fading strength from a continuation of the earlier trend.
Leg Ledger
The right-edge reading is BULL — DEVELOPING. A developing leg is not the same as completed bullish confirmation, particularly while Flow Ribbon is weakening.
What this chart teaches: A transition is usually a sequence: strong participation, weakening pressure, uncertainty, and possibly opposing participation. A warning is not automatically a short-entry signal.
05
Independent context
Why disagreement may be more valuable than agreement
Price pushes higher during the early portion and then spends the latter portion moving down. SuperTick shifts between supportive and opposing periods while the Flow Ribbon transitions from expansion to sustained decline.

SuperTick
Breadth and Pressure repeatedly fluctuate through local swings. Later bearish periods add context to the weakening ES move.
Flow Ribbon
Delta Strength pressure builds during the climb and then declines notably during the later selloff, despite occasional short positive SuperTick bursts.
Leg Ledger
This particular screenshot does not include a Leg Ledger panel. Add it to the same workspace when evaluating whether a rebound is developing into a strong structural leg.
What this chart teaches: Different measures may improve at different times. The objective is to read the sequence and the relationship to price—not assume every green or red patch forecasts the next bar.

Questions before you start
ZTP SuperTick Frequently Asked Questions
Does ZTP SuperTick replace Delta Strength Flow Ribbon?
No. They answer different questions. ZTP SuperTick shows market Breadth and Pressure, while Flow Ribbon describes developing Delta Strength pressure. The SuperTick Auto signals are designed to use Flow Ribbon information, so the indicators work together rather than replacing one another.
What does Leg Ledger add to a SuperTick chart?
Leg Ledger evaluates the strength or weakness of the current structural move relative to preceding legs. It can help you distinguish a developing counter-move from the broader context shown by SuperTick and Flow Ribbon. Its right-edge label is a current-state reading, not a description of the entire session.
Do I need both NYSE and Nasdaq data from Kinetick?
Yes. ZTP SuperTick requires an active Kinetick subscription including NYSE Level I and Nasdaq Level 1 real-time stock data. Both subscriptions are required and are billed separately from ZoneTraderPro software.
Is ZTP SuperTick available in the Delta Strength Suite?
ZTP SuperTick is included in the Complete ZoneTraderPro Suite, not the two lower-priced Delta Strength packages. See the licensing page for current package details.
Are the green and red backgrounds guaranteed buy and sell signals?
No. They provide market context. The combined SuperTick Auto signal layer incorporates Flow Ribbon information, and neither a background color nor a chart arrow guarantees future market direction. Read the market structure and manage risk.
