A continuation ratio is a whole number that you see on the chart. As you can see, we would have shorted the market at the POC Sell signal. Approximately 2 and 4 points later continuation ratios were made.

What is interesting is that a POC Buy signal was stopped then by a .28 stopping ratio.

A stopping ratio occurs when you see a decimal on the chart, such as the .27 and .28 on the chart on the left. It wasn’t until the stopping ratio of .27 along with a POC Buy signal occurred.
