ZTP Delta Strength Suite
Live Order Flow
Most order-flow tools stop at one question: was there more aggressive buying or selling? Delta Strength goes further and evaluates the strength, the success, and the changing character of that pressure.
Raw delta reports activity.
Delta Strength evaluates whether that activity is working.
Pressure has a character — and it changes.
Flow Ribbon shows Delta Strength pressure as it develops — expanding, compressing, accelerating, or shifting direction — so you are reading the tone of the pressure rather than a single raw delta number.
The ribbon compresses as pressure balances and expands as new momentum takes control.
How much pressure is actually building in this move?
Leg Pressure accumulates directional Delta Strength across the current structural leg. Instead of judging bar by bar, you see the buying or selling pressure that has actually built up inside the move you are trading.
Leg Pressure and PPO are not the same tool — they answer different questions.
Price tells you the move. PPO asks about its quality.
PPO evaluates the relationship between Delta Strength behavior and price behavior — whether internal pressure is confirming the move or diverging from it.
Delta Strength is relatively stronger than price — more positive than price, or less negative than price.
Delta Strength is relatively weaker than price — more negative than price, or less positive than price.
PPO is a relationship indicator, not a direction indicator. The sign alone does not tell you whether the market is bullish or bearish.
Leg Pressure watches the move. Session Pressure watches the session.
Session Pressure accumulates Delta Strength across a broader session horizon, so you can see whether buying or selling pressure is building, fading, persisting, or changing control.
For short-duration strategies, including 0DTE options strategies, the 30- and 60-minute views give intraday pressure context — whether the current move aligns with, or fights against, the broader pressure that has developed. Context, not a prediction of option prices.
Effort, measured against the response it should have produced.
Absorption Meter compares pressure to price response — revealing when the active side is being paid for its effort, and when that effort is being absorbed.
Version 1 · Active-side / campaign view
Breaks the action into buyer or seller campaigns and shows whether the active side is receiving efficient payoff. Best for reading absorption inside the current move.
Version 2 · Continuous DS / full-history view
Its expectation is not computed from a single trading session. It uses a rolling history of roughly a week of recent sessions, so the reference adapts to current market conditions.
Structural memory.
Leg Ledger compares completed structural legs, so you can see what each one actually accomplished — whether bullish or bearish pressure is strengthening, weakening, or being consumed by the opposing move.
In this example: a strong selloff ends, buyers take control, successive bullish legs continue, and repeated seller counter-moves stay weak by comparison.
Did the market actually accept the level?
Level Verdict evaluates what happens when price tests or breaches an important level — not simply whether the level was touched.
ACC does not automatically mean bullish and REJ does not automatically mean bearish. The verdict is relative to the level and the direction of the test — lower prices can be accepted, and lower prices can be rejected.
The red zigzag lines visible on this chart are drawn by a separate ZoneTraderPro ZigZag indicator. Level Verdict does not draw them.
Is the counter-move building — or fading?
Pullback evaluates the quality of the counter-move inside an ongoing structure, rather than judging a retracement by price alone.
Counter-move pressure is strengthening — the opposing side is becoming more dangerous.
Counter-move pressure is weakening — opposing pressure is losing strength.
Not a standalone buy or sell signal. It is built for ZTP patterns, transitions, trade management, continuation and profit-taking decisions.
Every tool you just saw reads pressure through one framework.
In 2019, we built Delta Strength around a different question.
What did that pressure actually accomplish?
Delta said buying.
DS said selling.
The original proprietary ZTP Delta Strength indicator was developed in 2019 and remains the foundation of the entire suite. Traditional delta reports how much aggressive buying and selling occurred. Delta Strength asks what that pressure accomplished.
Aggressive buying was occurring. Delta Strength stayed negative — sellers still controlled the move — and a substantial selloff followed. Positive delta did not stop it.
DS was right.
The real-time advantage
Traditional bar-based order-flow patterns typically require the bar to close before the pattern itself is valid — so the completed pattern is not fully known until then. The DS Suite evaluates Delta Strength behavior in real time, letting you assess pressure while it is still developing.
Raw delta shows activity. Delta Strength evaluates whether that activity is actually working.
TRCF adds a second lens: TICK context.
TRCF is a separate TICK-based context tool. Its signals are generated by TICK context, not by Delta Strength — and its shaded background bands let you see increasing and decreasing TICK pressure directly on the trading chart, without watching a separate TICK chart.
